in Specific irrigation

Date :

Project Overview:
Because of the highest environmental and energy standards, the town hall in Stühlinger is also a statement for climate protection. The Plus Energy House generates more energy from renewable sources than it requires for heating, cooling, ventilation and lighting. It covers the own energy requirements. Around 800 solar panels on the facade and on the roof produce electricity, excess energy is fed into the grid. The energy for heating and cooling is generated with near-surface geothermal energy with groundwater and the building was built to passive house standard.

Challenge:
The architecture office ingenhoven architects expected a sustainable and an intelligent use of water. The pumped groundwater needed for irrigation should be brought directly to the plant.
